What makes us unique?
What is Chronic Pain?
Chronic pain is defined as pain lasting longer than three months duration and varies depending on etiology (cause) and the region of the body involved. Chronic pain disorders vary from chronic neck and back pain (due to degenerative spondylosis) to more rare pain disorders, such as post herpetic and trigeminal neuralgias.
“Pain, whether acute or chronic, is the most prevalent health condition in the U.S. workforce and the most costly in terms of lost productive work time.”-- ACOEM Guidelines, p.105
Migrane and tension headaches can occur in some people on a chronic daily basis and are more resistant to traditional headache remedies.
